Got this through my email contacts. I don't live in the UK anymore, but I thought it may be useful for some folks here:

Join the campaign for an accessible UK

Take part in our Action for Access campaign. Help us to build our
accessibility map of the UK, share your positive and negative access
stories and get tips on what your local services can and should be
doing to improve access.

Go to [this website] to create your own personal profile and start taking action for
access! We have produced a short and simple list of survey questions
to get you started which you can download from the website.

Wow, I didn't know this existed! It's definitely a good idea, and will help us get more organised in protesting for better access.

Gonna have to send them a seething complaint, though - it's another of those UK websites in which 'UK' actually means 'Great Britain, but definitely not Northern Ireland'. I'll post a response if I get it...

Oh gosh, I hope you don't feel I'm getting at you! If anything, I'm glad you drew my attention to it, because the thing is that that site is a fantastic resource for campaigners, and if I can just get them to recognise that it needs to include the whole of the UK, it could be very valuable for people here.

(No reply yet, but if I don't hear anything in a week's time I'll maybe write a letter...)
