So close, but yet so ridiculously far

Actual quote from a job application site, with the only redactions being identifying information:

"In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act (ADAAA), if you have a disability and would like to request an accommodation in order to apply for a position with [company], please call [voice phone number]."

I hope the person at that number knows how to answer relay calls!

OK, I may be missing something, but: what kind of disability or combination of disabilities would leave someone able to visit a web site but not to send an email? Sounds to me like they didn't think this through, or maybe they're not Schooled in the Way of the Internet, because an email address (alone or along with a phone #) sounds like a better solution overall, accessibility-wise.

I would be suspicious to begin with; it sounds like a not-so-subtle way of weeding out disabled people.
