So I just got a tweet about this interactive discussion from the American Association for People with Disabilities:

Yep, that's right.

There is, of course, nothing in the description about whether they know how to handle a participant calling via relay, whether there will be real-time captioning provided, or really, what anyone's supposed to do who might not be able to "listen for the prompt".

I have given real thought to getting my business cards reprinted without a phone number on them. Because it's not like I come across as real professional when I'm understanding one word in three, and if there's any background noise, that's about what I manage.

Gah, yes! And I totally understand on the "one word in three"... unless I've got an absolutely pristine phone connection with no interference and background noise on either end, that's about how much I can manage.
