That makes me so happy to hear, especially WRT Apple Store. I am such an Apple enthusiast (especially because I honestly believe that OSX provides some much more workable alternatives for people who can't use traditional OS settings, including low-light contrast being native, which is essential for me as a migraine sufferer...anyway, I ramble) that hearing that the Genius just found her solution and kept going without it being an issue is A+, even if the architecture of the Bar itself was Fail.
