... I would have offered to help while grinning in approval. Although I might, being sans wheelchair, have been more "careless" about picking it up and tossing it aside and risking "accidental" damage. Or about getting some chalk... or a Sharpie... and leaving them a "polite" message about interfering with civic amenities.
