mathsnerd: ((xkcd) WRONG on the internet)

Just read through the comments there. Yeah, Google is (whether deliberately or just via ignorance/don't-give-a-damn) excluding PWD from using their services. This is discrimination which, since Google is a US-based company, should be illegal. Unfortunately, unlike, say Germany, the US does not have a system in place for us to lodge a simple formal complaint and then kick back and have a ginger biscuit while the system kicks Google's butt for us.

Which leads to the inevitable logical next query: What are WE going to do about it? Yes, I know, people have lives, I'm being diagnosed with a million chronic illnesses (just added Fibromyalgia Syndrome to my mix, but I'll be damned if I sit around and let Google get patted on the back for being so ACCESSIBLE and AWESOME and FORWARD THINKING while we can't even get accounts or use their services.
